Customers kitchen has very high moisture in wood floors around kitchen sink, there is also a noticeable mold smell. Took a reading using our hygiena meter and found high levels of growth. Before removing cabinets we recommended placing a dehumidifier for several days to see if the moisture is a one time event. If the moisture returns we will know we have an active leak and can make recommendations then.

Beach home has visible signs of mold due to roof leak from Sally, tested the tiles with a moisture meter and FLIR camera and found no moisture. Recommended a treatment with anti-microbial and a good cleaning. Once the roof is replaced I don’t think this will be a recurring problem.

Visible mold growth on bedroom ceiling in a residence in north Pensacola. Customer has recently replaced the roof eliminating the source of moisture. Next step is to treat the mold with a good anti-microbial and paint the ceiling.

Customer found active mold growing behind furniture, water source was a exterior water faucet. Source of water has stopped, recommended removal of baseboard and small piece of drywall to inspect the wall cavity. A deep cleaning of the bedroom and treatment with anti microbial and carpet cleaning should resolve the issue.

Customer called and was worried they had a mold issue on their ceiling as a result of a roof leak from the hurricane. We inspected several spots and tested them for moisture and microbial growth. We determined that all the spots were dry and were not mold but were simply water marks. A simple cleaning and painting is all that needs to be done, another relieved customer.

Another with a roof leak from Sally, customer has a small area of microbial growth above the back door that can be easily cleaned and treated by the home owner. Showed the home owner how to clean and what products to use.

Technology manufacturer had windows that leaked during hurricane Sally, water intruded inside the walls and has created elevated levels of microbial growth. Recommend removing of the drywall and micro cleaning of the interior wall cavity and cleaning of the contents in the affected area.

Water issue at a home focusing on the subfloor, determined that the dryer vent is not connected and is blowing warm moist air into the crawlspace, recommending dryer vent repair and the installation of ventilation fans to improve ventilation.

Ice maker leak in a condo created a mold issue and required us to dry the unit and clean and treat the HVAC ducts for cross contamination.

Military moving and storage facility has a shipment of home furnishings from an active duty military personnel that has been in storage while they were overseas. Shipment has month growth and needs to be cleaned and treated for mold and sanitized for covid 19. We took a reading for growth and found elevated levels of contamination. We will recommend cleaning following all IICRC and NORMI guidelines and provide a certificate of sanitation.

Customer has quite a bit of mold growing around every register and in the HVAC return. Suggested a duct cleaning and a preventative fogging of the entire home with a plant based anti-microbial. Not a big deal but it’s time for a cleaning before it becomes a real problem. Also suggested to have the HVAC checked by a licensed HVAC contractor.

Roof leak from hurricane Sandy has reviled previous mold and roof leaks. Will need to have affected areas tested for mold and come up with a course of action depending on the results from the lab.

Customer has very high humidity in the home which has caused an outbreak of aspergillus in three rooms, recommended to have the AC inspected and a general deep cleaning of the affected rooms. Did not recommend any service from SERVPRO, this could easily handled by the home owner using over the counter products rated for mold cleaning.

Customer called after AC condensation line clogged and caused bedroom floor to get wet and the walls. Moisture caused an outbreak of aspergillus. Recommended a general wipe down with an anti microbial and a duct cleaning.

Water came in dining room from the upstairs master, this caused stachybotrys to grow to elevated levels. Will be removing drywall after containment is setup and HEPA equipment is placed.

Another customer wanting assurances that they don’t have any mold issues after the big storm. Was able to test for moisture and use the FLIR camera to let the customer know that his house is dry and it is ok to patch the drywall and retexture the ceiling with no worries of mold.

Customer has a rent house that had a serious water leak in the past, inspected the suspected area and determined that it is now dry. The growth was old and could be cleaned by the customer saving them considerably. I showed them what to do and if they had any questions they could call me back for further help.

Large church has water intrusion in youth room in the basement, had a mold report which had high levels of aspergillus and cladosporium. Mold was due to high levels of humidity and no water leaks. Suggested regular cleanings and the use of an over the counter anti- microbial cleaner and possibly purchasing a dehumidifier.

Customer has a bonus room that is rarely used, mini split is leaking inside of wall causing high humidity. This allows aspergillosis to grow on organic material like the leather on this couch. Recommended to have this AC mini split checked by the company that installed it then allow us to place a dehumidifier for a few days and clean the couch and carpet and treat the room with anti-microbial.

Customer had water spots on ceiling and a musty smell, detected moisture using the FLIR camera which indicated a roof leak during the hurricane was likely. Removal of the drywall and insulation recommended so drying and treatment with anti-microbial can occur.

Commercial customer of large call center called SERVPRO of West Pensacola looking for solutions for Covid-19 sanitizing. We tested the major touch points using our Hygiena RTU scanner and determined that the touch point showed high levels of contamination, which could mean bacteria or viruses. We recommended electrostatic spraying and cleaning using CDC approved cleaners on a regular schedule to supplement their normal housekeeping.

Home flooded and water was able to get high enough to reach the insulation. Insulation was removed allowing the crawlspace to air dry. Once it has dried and no mold present new insulation will be installed. Recommended a sump pump as well.

10,000 sf loft in downtown Pensacola is the nicest residential loft I’ve ever seen. Called out to check for moisture and potential mold growth. Used FLIR thermal camera and non evasive moisture meters, determined that the house was ok and only had minimal moisture issues, recommended to have windows and roof flashing inspected but there was no drying or mold remediation necessary. Happy customer is always the best customer.

Mold in another condo adjacent to the unit we are already working in, unit above ours roof leaked and caused the interior walls to be wet, baseboards are coming off and we will be able to save the walls because there in no insulation, place equipment and treat with anti-microbial and save the customer lots of tear out and headaches.

We found out the house didn’t have a mold problem but had a wood destroying organism growing in the crawlspace.
